Eintracht Frankfurt's performance is currently mixed.
Sports director Krösche praises the work of the coaching team.
Frankfurt – There is currently a bit of a problem on the pitch at Eintracht Frankfurt.
There is a larger gap between the performance shown and the demands.
Most recently there was a defeat at 1. FC Köln and a draw in the home game against VfL Bochum.
Many fans are anything but happy with their team's performances.
Eintracht sports director Krösche supports head coach Toppmöller
Sports director Markus Krösche nips in the bud the criticism against head coach Dino Toppmöller that can be heard from outside.
“The fact that those around us are expressing dissatisfaction is legitimate.
Let's be honest with ourselves: the way is not the way we imagine.
We want to see less classical music and more heavy metal in the stadium,” he said at a press conference.
“The coach, his team and the staff are doing a really good job.
The players all want it too.
We should all give ourselves time to internalize the content.
At the same time, we are self-critical enough to address the way some performances are performed.
It’s not about mistakes or missed opportunities, but about the basic approach,” continued Krösche.

The 43-year-old sees room for improvement with the team: “In terms of results, the season is okay, in terms of performance we have fluctuations and there is room for improvement in terms of activity and aggressiveness.
Especially at home, we want to put more pressure on the opponent and force them to make mistakes.”
Eintracht squad facing changes in the summer?
The sports director is still convinced of the squad.
“We have a young team with lots of different guys who work together to create a good atmosphere.
They're all really good guys.
Origin doesn't matter to us.
It's not about nationality, but about character.
The mix is right,” confirmed Krösche.
Nevertheless, there could be changes in the squad.
Krösche also doesn't rule out the possibility that top performers might leave the club if the price is right: "On the whole, we want to keep the squad together.
But if a player develops faster than the club and our demands are met, we will let him go.
Because we remain somewhat dependent on transfer proceeds.” (
