Argirios Giannikis and TSV 1860 Munich beat top team Ingolstadt after Essen.
That's why the team is revving up under the new coach.
Munich – Six games, three wins, three draws – coach Argirios Giannikis (43) got off to a real dream start with TSV 1860.
While the Lions were in acute danger of relegation before he took office on January 10th, the lead over the death zone is now eight points.
The successor to Maurizio Jacobacci (61) not only got the new dream duo Julian Guttau (24) - Fynn Lakenmacher (23) on track, but also made further adjustments.

Because Kilian Ludewig (23) was unavailable for a short time before the 3-1 win against Ingolstadt, there was suddenly a gap in the back right.

Giannikis doesn't line up based on name, only based on performance.
During training, the lions push themselves to peak performance.
Eroll Zejunullahu (29) managed to jump from the stands straight back into the starting eleven.
“When you have such a big squad (31 players, editor's note), you obviously have a lot of players who don't play from the start.
But the coach manages it well,” says Verlaat.
Calm:
Gianniki's motto: There's already enough political stress at sixty, I concentrate on sport.
