Another step towards deciding Kylian Mbappe's future was made this evening, according to a series of reports across Europe.
A number of senior journalists published this evening (Thursday) one after the other that the star of Paris Saint-Germain informed the president of the club, Nasser Al Khalaifi, that he will leave the team at the end of the season.
As you know, Mbappe ends his contract at the end of the season and will become a free agent.
This means that PSG will not receive a transfer fee for him on the assumption that he will really leave, but it will save bonuses of this and that it would have had to pay him in addition to his salary if he had stayed next season in the City of Lights - a sum estimated at 200 million euros.

Real Madrid is the clear favorite to land Mbappe in the summer, but that cannot be taken for granted.
