Danny Avdia already had good games and good times in the NBA, but few remained indifferent to his performance tonight (between Wednesday and Thursday).
After setting a career high with an incredible night of 43 points in a 133:126 loss to New Orleans, the Washington forward has been receiving wall-to-wall praise, with Washington reporters sounding more convinced than ever: this is a star in the making.
"Danny is playing like an All-Star tonight," Wizards commentator Glenn Consur wrote.
"Danny is becoming one of the best players in the NBA when it comes to immediate penetration to the basket. Opponents know he's going to go right and yet he gets past his guards time and time again, just because he attacks right after he catches the ball," wrote Kevin Foley, who covers the The Wizards.
On the Twitter account "Wiztakes" they wrote: "Why don't we run the attack through Avdia all year? We've been waiting for games like this from Danny since we picked him in the draft. This is the player we always believed he could become. This Danny has finally arrived."

"The Athletic" reporter Will Gilroy, who covers New Orleans and apparently is unaware that everything has converged to Avdia's peak evening, after weeks of good and stable ability, doubted and wrote that "the Pelicans make Danny Avdia look like an All-Star".
