In the hours after Danny Abedia's big show, in the United States the issue of his future is being discussed again, and how great his potential is to develop into a significant player in the NBA.
On the Bleav In Wizards blog, Wizards writers Matt Moderno and Will Clayton discussed Avdia at length.
"I didn't expect to see a game like this from Danny this season, maybe only next season," Will Clayton said.
"He just took over the game. He's aggressive, when his shots fall he suddenly looks like a player who could be the first or second offensive option on an NBA team. I've never seen such potential in him. Until now he's been seen as an excellent role player for a successful team, but nothing more - But in the last few weeks, he shows that he is capable of being something bigger. This is very exciting for the Wizards."
Clayton added: "When Danny has confidence, he's a completely different player. Tonight he looks full of confidence, and suddenly you get something different than what you're used to. He's in very good hands, he's a winning player and the type of player that winning teams really want."

Matt Moderno said: "I didn't believe he would put on a show like this, maybe ever. His contract suddenly looks really, really good. He's underpaid in NBA terms. The decision to sign him to a long-term contract looks like the best decision Wizards management has made in many, many years. It's very interesting what will happen with him now, how opposing teams will guard him from now on. There were moments when it looked like he just couldn't get 43 points in a game, even 14 points seemed a lot for him - but Danny made everyone take him seriously, and not just because of this game , but thanks to his displays throughout the season."
On "The Hoffman Show" podcast, Craig Hoffman, who covers Washington, said: "As it stands right now, Danny Abedia can be a five player on a champion team. The comparisons to Luca at the beginning of his career were crazy, but now I definitely see him becoming a good player on a champion team. He is still Young, but has greatly improved his shooting and shows a high work ethic. He should get more opportunities to prove that he is a top offensive player."
