Randal Kolo Muani left Eintracht Frankfurt to play for Paris Saint-Germain.
Now he admits that he was happier at SGE.
Paris/Frankfurt – Randal Kolo Muani’s star rose at Eintracht Frankfurt.
The attacker, who moved to Main from FC Nantes on a free transfer in 2022, made his international breakthrough with the SGE and played his way into the notebooks of numerous top clubs.
The move to PSG took place last summer, which was apparently extremely stressful for the national player.

“I still don't know how I managed to sign for PSG.
I didn't even read the contract, I just signed at the bottom of each page without knowing what I was actually initialing.
Everything happened at a rapid pace, there was a lot of running around in the offices.
I had never experienced anything like that before.
It was incredibly stressful!

In the end, he was simply relieved that the transfer was completed before the deadline: “I'm definitely happy that the deal went through.
There were a lot of documents that had to be sent, I sat in an office with my father and waited.
And when I heard the screaming and applause in the office, I knew it was done.”

There was great euphoria among the Paris Saint-Germain fans because Kolo Muani was a French national player who was supposed to strengthen the attack around megastar Kylian Mbappé.
After a little more than half a year, disillusionment has long since set in.
Kolo Muani scored nine goals in 24 competitive games, but much better performances were expected from him.

The criticism that pelted him as a result bothered him, as he now admitted.
“In Germany I was confident, so I was fulfilled on the pitch.
I just have to be happy and confident and everything will go like clockwork.
Today I'm happy, but I'm not as happy as I was in Germany.
At the beginning the criticism influenced me.
“I’m a human being, I’m not a wall, I’m not a robot, I have feelings,” the 25-year-old gave insights into his inner life.
