Maccabi Haifa fans in Budapest/documentation on social networks according to Section 27 A of the Copyright Law
For the first time since the beginning of the war, an Israeli team is hosting tonight (Thursday, 22:00, Sport2) a game in a European setting with audience admission.
Although Maccabi Haifa is not hosting Gent in the first game of the Conference League playoffs at the home stadium of Sami Ofer, this evening about 2,000 Maccabi Haifa fans who came to Budapest plan to turn Bozik Arena into a small version of the field in Haifa.
Hours before the game, the green fans held a procession in Hungary, reached the city center and painted it green.

Even before the game, the team's midfielder Gadi Kinda was already prepared for the home atmosphere that Maccabi Haifa fans are going to create thousands of kilometers from home: "Thousands of fans accompany us and it's amazing. The field is very small and with our crowd the atmosphere will be very warm."
