The Leaders Cup is back this weekend.
Two Ile-de-France clubs are in the running to succeed Asvel, winner last year.
This competition, which brings together the eight best French teams, is the first opportunity for elite French basketball clubs to win a title this season.
Bourg-en-Bresse and Nancy will open the ball in these quarter-finals on Friday February 16 at 1 p.m. Then it will be the turn of Pascal Donadieu's Nanterre Greens to take to the floor of the Arena Saint-Étienne Métropole.
The winning club of Pro A in 2013 will have to come up against the defending champion.
Three hours later, it is the leader of the championship, Monaco, who will enter the fray against a Le Mans team in difficulty for several matches and which has fallen to 11th place in Pro A. These quarters will end with the duel between Paris Basketball, which has just inaugurated the Adidas Arena, and which is in 5th place in the championship, and Saint-Quentin, 6th.
The competition will continue on Saturday and Sunday with the semi-finals and the final.
Will Nanterre and Paris Basketball manage to finally win a competition that does not smile on them?
