FC Bayern is heading for a titleless season.
Naturally, coach Thomas Tuchel is the first to be questioned.
He still sits so firmly in the saddle.
Munich - slap at title rivals Leverkusen, defeat at outsiders Lazio Rome: That's all it takes for a real alarm mood on Säbener Straße.
FC Bayern missed the two games that Tuchel and Co. unanimously attached particular importance to.
The Bayern coach wanted to “put the cards on the table”.
On that table, however, the record champions didn't reveal a very good hand - at least not one that could win games.
After Thomas Tuchel's tactics didn't work at all in the top Bundesliga game, the coach in Rome went back to the usual basic order and different personnel.

But the return of Thomas Müller and Joshua Kimmich did not produce the required reaction either.
An acceptable first half with a few missed scoring opportunities was followed by Bayern with a catastrophic second half (to the

After the two defeats, many Bayern fans are asking themselves: How firmly is Thomas Tuchel still in the saddle?
One thing is clear: the direction in which the Bayern team is heading is completely wrong.
Publicly, the club bosses are (still) clearly behind Tuchel.
“Of course he is struggling with the situation, which is very difficult for all of us.
Our goal is to fight our way out of this together.
We’re all in the same boat,” emphasized sports director Christoph Freund after the Lazio bankruptcy.
Tuchel himself blocked all questions about his future.

Not a quick shot, but first measure: FC Bayern is eyeing the Tuchel situation
Bayern CEO Jan-Christian Dreesen made it clear after the Leverkusen bankruptcy that “nothing at all” would change in the coaching position.
However, a titleless season would be the worst case for the Munich team.
And that's exactly what Tuchel's team is heading for.

there will be “no quick fix” at FC Bayern.
Tuchel will definitely remain in office until the Bochum game.
