Thomas Tuchel is coming under increasing pressure after FC Bayern's defeat at Lazio Rome.
He reacted irritably when asked about his future.
Munich – There is a crisis at FC Bayern.
After the 3-0 defeat against Bayer Leverkusen at the weekend, the next setback in the Champions League followed on Wednesday evening.
In Rome, the Munich team showed themselves to be completely toothless and lost the first leg of the round of 16 against Lazio 0-1.
At the press conference after the game, Thomas Tuchel reacted irritably - especially to questions about his future as Bayern coach.
Tuchel “frustrated and angry” after Bayern bankruptcy in Rome
“I am frustrated and angry about the defeat,” Tuchel explained on the DAZN microphone shortly after the game.
In particular, the 50-year-old could not explain his team's drop in performance in the second half.
“I have no idea,” he said repeatedly, almost seeming at a loss.
Central defender Dayot Upamecano was sent off with a red card, Harry Kane literally dived and the rest of the team completely lost track in the second half.
This is also reflected in the tz individual review with one six and three fives.
Tuchel already seemed dejected during the game, and one scene clearly showed Bayern's shambles.
At the press conference, the Munich coach's disappointment about the defeat was also clear to see.
Tuchel reacted particularly irritably to a journalist's question about his future with the German record champions.
Irritated Tuchel blocks questions about his Bayern future
“No,” was his one-word answer when asked if he was worried about his job.
Tuchel had already fired this out before the journalist had even finished asking his question.
When the reporter asked more questions, the Bayern coach replied with a short “no” and shrugged his shoulders.
“I would like to talk about the game,” explained Tuchel.
When asked repeatedly, the Bayern coach raised his voice: “I told you.
I answered no.
You asked a question, I answered no.” When the reporter still didn’t want to let up, press spokesman Dieter Nickles finally intervened.
“So that might be a bit much, right?
He replied, “Maybe we’ll just carry on,” he said firmly.
Tuchel couldn't help but grin mischievously.

The discussions about the future of the Bayern coach are unlikely to stop after the Rome bankruptcy, for which the Munich team was partially dismantled by the international press.
Even if they don't want to lead them at FC Bayern at the moment, at least externally.
Sports director Christoph Freund did not move away from the coach after the game in the mixed zone.
“We are all in the same boat,” affirmed the Austrian.
He is convinced that things will get better again.
Thomas Müller also stood in front of his coach.
When asked whether Tuchel was still the right coach, the veteran called the debate on the DAZN microphone “a bit disrespectful”.
The public doesn't have to hope that they'll tear themselves apart now.
“We stand together and work towards the next game,” assured the Bayern veteran.
Next Sunday the Munich team has to play against VfL Bochum in the Bundesliga.
In order to avoid further discussions about Tuchel's future, Bayern should urgently get a win at Castroper Straße.
If that doesn't work, the pressure on those responsible will increase.
There are well-known coaching candidates on the transfer market to succeed Tuchel at Bayern.
