French Cup summary: Paris Saint-Germain - Brest 1:3/Sport1
In France and the rest of Europe it is treated as a fact that Kylian Mbappe will leave Paris Saint-Germain as a free agent this summer.
Across the continent they published that the Star informed President Nasser al-Khalaifi of his decision, and in France they contributed additional details from the meeting.
"In parting, they gave each other fun, Naser appreciated the fact that Mbappe came to inform him face to face," said ex-teammate and commentator Jerome Rotten, "it was clear that there would be a feeling of disappointment, but Naser is a businessman, he knew it could happen."
But what is the next step for the French superstar?
In "Marca" they claim that Mbappe's move to Real Madrid is inevitable.
Real Madrid's current offer is described as lower in terms of salary (up to €30 million per season) and significantly lower than their previous offers and what he is currently earning at Paris Saint-Germain (according to estimates in the new contract he was offered a salary of €100 million per season).
According to the report Mbappe will have to share roles with other players at Real Madrid and will not be the undisputed star.
He is also not expected to earn more than the team's current stars - Vinicius and Jude Bellingham.
However, despite the less attractive terms, joining Real Madrid is still considered Mbappe's dream, and this is Real Madrid's main advantage in the negotiations.
The length of Mbappe's contract will be for at least five seasons and he will also receive bonuses and a signing bonus.
Leaving for good.

As you may remember, last summer there was tension between the parties when Mbappe refused to extend his contract, and the club decided to exclude him from the preseason games in the Far East.
This time, Rotan claims, there will be no sanction.
Mbappe promised in the summer that if he left, El Khalaifi would be the first to know and so he was.
Lakip even added that Mbappe asked the president not to submit any further proposals for contract extension, and that the decision is final.
Former player Christophe Dugarry analyzed: "This will free Mbappe. I don't know where he will go, but he will be able to give everything to the end for the club he loves. He will want to give everything, I have no doubt."

The one who has already caused an uproar on the "X" social network is Orleans Tshoumani, Mbappe's friend in the French national team and a Real Madrid player.
Two buckets of popcorn appeared in the midfielder's tweet, following the reports of Mbappe's departure from PSG, and Tshoumani's tweet drove the surfers crazy, who were already excited about the possibility that the two tricolor players would indeed collaborate in the Blancos uniform next season.
