Munich – Setback for Sacha Boey!
As FC Bayern Munich announced on Friday, the Munich team's winter signing has suffered "a large torn fiber in his left rear thigh."
The Frenchman will therefore be missing from Munich in the coming weeks.
Boey makes his starting eleven debut against Leverkusen – bench spot against Lazio
The record champions did not initially reveal when Boey sustained the injury.
The 23-year-old was in Thomas Tuchel's squad for Wednesday's Champions League game at Lazio Rome, but was not used.
Boey only moved from Galatasaray to FC Bayern at the end of January and was supposed to compensate for Munich's defensive problems.
After his Bundesliga debut against Borussia Mönchengladbach, the Frenchman was in the starting line-up for the top game in Leverkusen the following week.
However, Boey was unable to convince as a left-wing player and had to sit on the bench for 90 minutes in Rome.
Sacha Boey will be missing from FC Bayern in the coming weeks.

Kim, Mazraoui and Upamecano back – Davies is running again
Now the new signing, for whom the Munich team paid a record winter sum, is missing for several weeks.
On Sunday, the German record champions will face VfL Bochum away, and a week later RB Leipzig will be visiting the Allianz Arena.
Both games will definitely take place without Boey.
In general, Munich's personnel situation - especially in defense - has relaxed a little in the last few weeks.
Dayot Upamecano celebrated his comeback in Leverkusen, and Noussair Mazraoui and Minjae Kim have also returned from their national team.
