Ingrid Landmark Tandrevold wins bronze at the Biathlon World Championships.

After the race, the Norwegian still burst into tears.

Her team celebrates her.

Nove Mesto – 25th place in the sprint, 34th in the pursuit and 27th in the individual: Biathlon star Ingrid Landmark Tandrevold has so far experienced a World Cup to forget.

Things are not going well for the overall World Cup leader, especially at the shooting range.

After the silver medal in the mixed relay at the start, Tandrevold took bronze in the single mixed relay on Thursday with superstar Johannes Thingnes Bö.

The redemption?

Not at all.

In fact, the Norwegian burst into tears shortly before the press conference and had to be hugged comfortingly by her relay colleague.

Previously, Tandrevold had shot a penalty in the last shooting session, tied with the Frenchwoman Lou Jeanmonnot, and had given up a possible victory.

In the end, the Norwegians, who are used to success, only managed third place behind Italy and France.

Too much for Tandrevold.

In an interview with Norwegian broadcaster NRK, the 27-year-old said: “I don’t recognize myself.

I have no feeling, neither positive nor negative.

I'm empty.” Tandrevold is now even afraid when she goes to the shooting range.

Teammates surprise biathlon star Tandrevold with a song

Even at the finish, Bö tried to build up his teammate.

“I’m proud of her,” said the Norwegian, defending Tandrevold, “I had problems too.

If you look at it like that, I made just as many mistakes as she did.”

Even when the two bronze winners arrived at the Norwegian team hotel, Tandrevold - who also commented on her wedding in the summer during the World Cup - burst into tears again.

This time, however, for joy.

The Norwegian posted a video on Instagram of how she welcomed her teammates with a song composed especially for her.

Biathlon star experiences nervous breakdown in the press area

“Started crying again.

“I am the happiest person in the world,” wrote Tandrevold.

“Tell me I have the best teammates in the world without telling me I have the best teammates in the world.”

The Norwegian also explained her tears on the social media platform.

“I spend 30 minutes in the press area and have to explain again and again why I failed,” explains the Biahlon star.

“I'm happy to accept that, but when it's the fifth day in a row it's tough.

I had a little nervous breakdown."
