Georgina Rodriguez lives in Saudi Arabia, and probably already knows a thing or two about modesty in the Muslim world, but now it seems that she too was surprised to find out that her butt has been censored by a newspaper associated with the Iranian regime.

Rodriguez, the 30-year-old model, the famous partner of Cristiano Ronaldo, was photographed in a family photo at the Portuguese soccer star's 39th birthday celebrations.

Rodriguez was seen wearing a tight black dress as she hugged Ronaldo's eldest son Cristiano Ronaldo Jr as the family of six gathered around a birthday cake.

The photo - posted to Ronaldo's 621 million Instagram followers - was published by news outlets around the world, including Iran's Hamshahri newspaper.

However, instead of printing the original, the media in Tehran blatantly edited the photo so that Rodriguez's rounded butt was not visible.

Following the crude photoshop work, the Spaniard's butt was flat from her waist to her lower thigh.

Proud of curves.

According to The Sun, Rodrigues is "very angry" about the publication's digital alteration of the photo taken last week.

"She works hard for her body and is very proud of her curves," they said.

"It just shows that the world's view of women in some parts of the world is distorted. It's vile."

Rodriguez, with 57 million followers on Instagram, is proud of her figure.

However, after Ronaldo's move to Saudi Arabian football club Al Nasser, she took a more conservative approach, posting on social media in line with the Muslim country's strict dress code.

This sparked criticism on social media, and the British-Iranian actor Omid Djalili, an outspoken critic of the regime in Tehran, wrote: "Showing so little respect for women by mutilating them in public says so much."

Member of the Parliament of Belgium Daria Safai wrote: "This is exactly how sick Islamists look at women."
