After two consecutive events in its Apex lair, in Las Vegas, the UFC is once again exporting for a big evening, with a very copious menu.
The high point remains the main fight, for the featherweight title, between Alexander Volkanovski and Ilia Topuria.
The Australian, champion of the category since December 2019 and his victory against Max Holloway, defends his belt for the sixth time.
For the Georgian, it is a first attempt for the title, he who is ranked 3rd in the division.
But this fabulous main event will not be the only interesting fight of the MMA evening, scheduled for the night of Saturday to Sunday in Anaheim, California.
The opening fight of the main card, which will begin at around 4 a.m. in France, will pit the American Anthony Hernandez against the (very) dangerous Russian Roman Kopylov.
Former double champion Henry Cejudo will then participate in his second fight after his three-year absence between 2020 and 2023. And the task promises to be complicated for “Triple C”, who will face the Georgian Merab Dvalishvili.
Two other fights are scheduled for the main card.
Irishman Ian Garry, on the rise, must win against Geoff Neal to continue to climb the ranks.
The Australian Robert Whittaker, beaten by Dricus Du Plessis during his last fight, must take his revenge against Paulo Costa.
The evening can be followed on Sunday February 18 on RMC Sport 2 from the preliminary card, at 2 a.m.
