The eighth round of competition in the Upper Bavaria League brought various strong results.
SV Kinsau delivered one thing.
One point decided between Böbing and Weilheim.
District
- None other than the sports director of the Bavarian Sports Shooting Association himself congratulated the SV Kinsau air pistol team on their best performance of the season.
Jan-Erik Aeply was impressed by the 1,821 rings that the Kinsau team achieved in the Oberbayernliga Süd-West competition at Edelweiß Gilching.
And at the same time he was the victim, because Aeply himself is still in the stand for the Gilchingers. With an impressive 379 rings, the veteran won his duel at number one against
Lukas Grimm
(365), who this time was
unable to repeat the results
from the previous rounds
.
But that was it for Gilchinger's successes.
The Kinsau team won the other duels, triumphing 4-1 and going into the final two rounds in second place (10-6 points).
SV Kinsau wins with a season best of 1821 rings
In Gilching, three people from Kinsau were happy about top results.
According to SVK sports director Thomas Haseitl, Michael Redl had “a great day”.
With 376 rings - he hasn't been that good so far this season - he clearly defeated Franziska Pletl (361) in second place.
And in third place, Hermann Helmschrott even shone with a personal record of 382 rings, which gave him a landslide victory over Kornelia Erb (343).
Alexander Haseitl set a record for this season: he got 364 rings, so Elisabeth Harms (343) had no chance against him.

Thomas Haseitl experienced “a rollercoaster of emotions” in fifth place.
The duel with Götz Thiel went back and forth.
According to his own admission, after five shots the Kinsauer was ten rings behind, and after ten shots he was four rings ahead.
After 18 shots, about halfway through, Thomas Haseitl was 14 points ahead.
“But I don’t want it to be that easy,” said Thomas Haseitl ironically.
Several failed shots allowed the enemy to approach again.
With four nines and a ten in the last five shots, the Kinsau resident ultimately completed a clear 334:323 victory.
Now the Kinsau team, who as promoted teams are sure to stay in the league, are looking forward to the top duel with SV Böbing.
SV Böbing wins the district duel with FSG Weilheim
The
Schnalz-Schützen
are at the top of the table two rounds of competition before the end of the season and can therefore plan for the promotion battles to the Bayernliga.
However , the home fight against
FSG Weilheim
was close.
The front runner, who competed without top shooter Andreas Schauer (373.0 rings on average), won with 3:2 points.
Weilheim achieved a season record with 1797 rings, Böbing remained below his previous average with 1789 rings.
By the way: Everything from the region is also available in our regular Schongau newsletter. And in our Weilheim-Penzberg newsletter.
Yannik Lindinger (371) defeated Lukas Braunreuther (368) in a high-level match.
Christian Lindinger (362) lost out to Nicole Hausler (366).
A playoff had to decide between Böbing's Fridolin Waldmann and Weilheim's Barbara Ludwig (both 355 rings).
Waldmann won 10:7.
The third point for the hosts went to Gerald Strunz (350), who defeated Maximilian Schmidt (348) with a difference of two rings.
The duel at number five went to FSG: veteran
Hermann Plötz
(360) had the upper hand over Sabine Erhard (351).

SG Hubertus Rott celebrates an important home win
The SG Hubertus Rott shooters recorded an important victory, their third of the season.
At home we lost 3-2 against third-placed FSG Starnberg.
Side note: The guests were ahead in terms of ring numbers (1775:1771).
But points count in the Upper Bavaria League.
The penultimate in the table took the top positions - the Rotters appeared very compact.
Franziska Menhart (368) defeated Stefan Kawnik (360), Martin Holzschuh (367:361 against Anton Jost) and Robert Hirschauer (367:361 against Philipp Kapsreiter) also won their duels.
However, Gregor Glassmann (354:360 against Karl-Heinz Kawnik) and Manfred Holzschuh (315:333 against Jürgen Pfeffer) were not successful.
