In a period largely occupied by the Six Nations Tournament, the Top 14 resumes its rights this weekend.
Swept away in Perpignan two weeks ago (26-5), Racing 92 (4th, 40 pts) will have the opportunity to make up for it against bottom-placed Montpellier (14th, 20 pts) this Saturday at Paris La Défense Arena.
“It was a complicated match for us.
We have already lost matches but I told the players that I was disappointed by the mentality and the consistency,” explained Stuart Lancaster.
But despite Montpellier's ranking, the Racingmen are wary: "they have very good players and are not in their usual place", admitted scrum half Clovis Le Bail.
Despite everything, the Hérault club has not won a Top 14 match away from home since last March and a narrow victory on the Perpignan pitch in the final moments (22-23).
Racing 92-Montpellier kicks off on Saturday February 17 at 5 p.m.
The meeting will be followed via the multiplex on Canal + or on Rugby +.
