It could also be the game of fate for coach Thomas Tuchel.
The 50-year-old is under enormous pressure – no victory in the Ruhr area?

Bayern themselves proved that this is not just an empty phrase almost exactly two years ago: on February 12, 2022, the Reds took a 1-0 lead in the ninth minute thanks to a certain Robert Lewandowski - and recovered before the break four pieces!

In the end, the blatant outsider won 4-2, Lewandowski was able to reduce the score again in the 75th minute.
But there was nothing more.
In the recent past, it was to be Bochum's only great moment against FC Bayern - the Munich team have won all other duels in the Bundesliga and DFB Cup since 2009.
Curious: Before and after the legendary 4-2 in Bochum, there was a 7-0 win for Munich.
And the stars who were there back then will certainly have preferred to remember these results before the game - and not that sunny February afternoon two years ago.
