Summary: Manchester City - Chelsea 1:1/Sport1

Celtic fans last night (Saturday) presented another show of support in Palestine, with a row of giant flags with an extreme message written on them: "Think about the last few months, will they say we failed? 30 thousand dead, 12 thousand children. End to the destruction of the people, end to Zionism."

This is their version of a song called "Grace" performed by Irish singer Jim McCann in 1985.

Needless to say, a series of Palestinian flags were also raised in the stands at the home game against Kilmarnock.

The person who was very enthusiastic about the anti-Israel demonstration was Anwar Al Ghazi, who responded to the post on Instagram and wrote: "I am ready to play for you for free."

As you may remember, the Dutch footballer of Moroccan descent posted a series of extreme messages on social media and even accused Israel of genocide at the beginning of the war, which caused Mainz to suspend him.

A few days later he returned to activity, published another anti-Israel post - and this time he was released.

The player did sue the Bundesliga team, but in response it demands financial compensation as well, in the amount of 523,000 euros for causing "serious image damage to the club".

The 28-year-old Al-Ghazi played in four different countries during his career.

He started his career in Ajax, and since then he has also played in Lille, Aston Villa, Everton, PSV Eindhoven and, as mentioned, Mainz, who released him due to his words.

In 2015, Al-Ghazi made two appearances in the uniform of the Dutch national team, but in 2022 he agreed to move and represent the Moroccan national team, in which he has not yet made a debut in the media.
