Great love in alpine skiing: There don't seem to be any major problems in the Austrian team due to an actually explosive constellation.
Vienna – In top-class sport, love is often like that.
If your partner spends most of their life preparing optimally for the season or then spends months competing, this requires a lot of understanding and patience.
Christian Walder and Stephanie Venier are officially a couple
It's easier if your better half has also made sport into a career.
And of course the ideal is for both of them to be at home in a sport.
Especially in winter sports, there are many dream couples in biathlon, cross-country skiing or alpine skiing.
Christian Walder and Stephanie Venier have recently also been included.
So far, so ordinary.
In the case of the two Austrian ski stars, there is another chapter that makes the love story a little more explosive: Walder was previously with another skier: a colleague of his current girlfriend!

Love triangle in the team: ski star gets involved with a colleague, now the ex is unpacking
In November 2022, the speed specialist and his then partner Cornelia Hütter announced the end of their relationship.
Around a year later, he made his love for Venier – like Walder and Hütter also a native of the speed disciplines – public.
Shortly before Christmas, Walder commented on a birthday post from Venier with red heart emojis.
At the beginning of January, the two shared a photo together, also with a heart, on their Instagram accounts.
The question remains: Is the constellation now causing tension in the Austrian ski team?
According to the
Kleine Zeitung,
Venier said recently in Zauchensee: “I only received positive feedback.
It's nothing exciting.
Rather, there was a lot of fanfare.
We as a team still get along well.
It all fits.”

Hütter talks about Walder and Venier's relationship
Hütter has now also commented on the relationship between her ex-boyfriend and her colleague.
In the

format “Walek wanders” she said: “Everyone deserves their happiness, everyone deserves love – wherever it falls.
And she just fell to them.
If it works for both of them, then it honestly doesn't matter to me.
And that's just as well."
Seems like everything is going the right way in the Austrian ski team.
This is also the case in the Swedish biathlon team, where a love triangle once even made headlines.
