Summary: Maccabi Haifa - Hapoel Haifa 1:1/Sport1
Maccabi Haifa is already in danger of losing another point at the court because of a flare that was thrown onto the lawn in the home game against Maccabi Tel Aviv, and tonight (Sunday) flares that were lit in the stands in the derby caused the game against Hapoel Haifa to be stopped for four minutes.
The event began in the 21st minute and referee Shinir Levy had no choice but to stop the game until the smoke cleared.
This pyrotechnic show came after the police reported that they had "thwarted the introduction of 32 flares into the stadium".
In the announcement, it was stated that thanks to the "uncompromising determination of the Coast District police officers against troublemakers", six suspects of disorderly conduct and possession of pyrotechnics were arrested before the game, including a minor who tried to slide two flares into the stadium with his body.
It took a while for the smoke to clear
