FC Bayern is in crisis.
After the 0-1 defeat in the Champions League, Mario Basler criticized sharply - and took aim at two players.
Munich – FC Bayern is going through another crisis after recent defeats against Bayer Leverkusen in the league and Lazio Rome in the Champions League.
Former Bayern player Mario Basler doesn't spare his criticism after the 0-1 defeat against Lazio - and this is clear with two players.
Basler becomes clear – and counts the FC Bayern team
All in all, the entire FC Bayern team performed poorly against Bayer Leverkusen for Basler.
“I was so disappointed on Saturday.
It's okay that one or two are out, but there were ten total failures on Saturday.
“I’m ignoring Neuer a bit, the goalkeeper is a lone fighter,” he said on
Sport1
.
Basler therefore has a strange feeling: “Tuchel has been there for a year, he hasn't been able to sleep peacefully for a minute because he was always being fired at from all sides.
I now have the feeling that one or two players are playing against the coach.
And I never thought that that could be the case in German football and especially at FC Bayern.”

At first he doesn't want to name any specific names, but then he fires against Leroy Sané: "When I see a highly paid player like Sané, who is undoubtedly one of the best German players - if he's up for it.
What he delivered on Saturday...” Basler would have liked Sané to watch the game against Lazio from the bench, because “you can make an example of a player like that,” he said on
Sport1
.
But that's not all: Basler has made it very clear several times that he is not a big fan of Joshua Kimmich - and after the game against Lazio Rome he added more: "Joshua Kimmich has been completely out of form for two years," said the former Bayern player.
In Thomas Tuchel's place, Basler would say to Kimmich: "Watch out, you're welcome to play with me, but you don't shoot a single set piece anymore, you just concentrate on one thing: you play between de Ligt, Upamecano or whoever as a central defender plays and stops exactly ten meters in front of them.
You no longer run ten meters to the left, ten meters to the right.”

The problem, according to Basler: “Kimmich won’t play right-back.
He simply pushed through that,” said Basler on Sport1.
The reason is that he only has 12 ball contacts there and 112 ball contacts on the six.
“That's what he wants.
Joshua Kimmich wants to do everything at FC Bayern.
That’s the big problem.”
But what does it all mean?
“He would like to be a captain, a goalkeeper, he would like to take the goal kicks, free kicks, penalties and maybe he would also like to be a coach,” said Basler sarcastically.
“That just doesn’t work.
For himself, I think he thinks he’s the best player in the world in his position.”

FC Bayern are actually doomed to win against VfL Bochum on Sunday, February 18th.
Otherwise things could get uncomfortable for Thomas Tuchel.
