Eintracht attacker Sasa Kalajdzic tore a cruciate ligament in the Bundesliga game against SC Freiburg and will be out for a long time.
Update from January 19th, 1:48 p.m
.: Sasa Kalajdzic suffered a torn cruciate and lateral ligament in his right knee in the away game against SC Freiburg and will be out indefinitely.
Eintracht Frankfurt announced this on the afternoon of February 19th.
This means that the attacker will not play any more games this season.
The loan ends in the summer and the Austrian returns to Wolverhampton.
After two cruciate ligament tears in his left knee, this time Kalajdzic's right knee was affected.

Eintracht worries about Kalajdzic
Kalajdzic, who was again preferred to Hugo Ekitike, collapsed in the early stages of the game without any outside influence and remained injured.
The attacker grabbed his knee and signaled that he couldn't go any further.
After a short treatment by the SGE medical department, the 26-year-old made his way into the cabin.
At least he could walk himself and didn't need to be supported.
The examinations will have to show how severe the injury Kalajdzic sustained is.
There are of course concerns about a more serious injury because the Austrian has already torn his cruciate ligament twice in the past.
In 2019, the attacker suffered his first serious knee injury during preparation with VfB Stuttgart and had to wait almost a whole year for his first competitive game for the Swabians.
After the injury, the left knee was stable and the 26-year-old no longer had any problems.

After he moved to Wolverhampton Wanderers in the English Premier League in 2022, he tore the cruciate ligament in his left knee again right on his debut for his new club.
