FC Bayern Munich suffered a surprising defeat at VfL Bochum.
Upamecano flies off the pitch again.
The individual criticism.
Bochum – A very bitter evening for FC Bayern Munich, who suffered a 2-3 defeat at VfL Bochum.
Due to the bankruptcy, the gap in the Bundesliga table is now eight points to leaders Bayer Leverkusen.
FC Bayern goes bankrupt at VfL Bochum
Dayot Upamecano, Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting, Matthijs de Ligt – many Munich players fell far short of their potential in the Ruhr area.
The only bright spot in a weak team was offensive player Jamal Musiala, who scored to give the team a 1-0 lead.
The individual criticism of the defeat in Bochum.
Manuel Neuer
Powerless when they conceded their first goal and without control of the penalty area when VfL scored their second goal.
Grade: 4
Noussair Mazraoui
Had to leave the pitch after half an hour and increased FCB's injury concerns.
Bitter.

from 32. Dayot Upamecano
Unbelievable: Caused another penalty and was sent off.
The end of his catastrophic week.

Matthijs de Ligt
Didn't seem at all up to speed in his starting eleven comeback and gave VfL some chances to finish with his insecurities.
Came too late with his tackle for the equalizing goal and missed the Bochum lead in the header duel.
An evening to forget.
Grade: 6
Minjae Kim
Was missed by Bochum's pressing and was lured into dribbling into the opponent's half in Lucio style.
When the first goal was conceded, he moved too far forward and left too much space behind him.
Poor coordination with his colleagues.
Grade: 5
Raphael Guerreiro
Made a lot of progress on the left side and initially combined with Jamal Musiala to create a few opportunities.
There are huge gaps at the back.
Grade: 4
Joshua Kimmich
Attacked too half-heartedly before conceding the first goal.
He slowed down the pace in the build-up game and was taken down after just under an hour - his frustration was clear to see.
Grade: 5
Leon Goretzka:
Showed an underground performance when he returned to his old place of work.
No impulses forward, far too big gaps in front of the defense.
Grade: 5
Thomas Müller
Tried to feed Munich's double attack with crosses, but had no ideas at all.
A very weak idea.
Grade: 5
Jamal Musiala
The only bright spot on offense.
Worth seeing after a double chance to take the lead.
He would have deserved an assist after his dream pass from the outside of his foot, but Kane missed the ball in front of the goal.
Otherwise with some completions and solo runs.
The only drawback: Lost the ball several times while dribbling, giving VfL a few counterattack chances - one of which led to the equalizer.
Note 3
Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting
Completely invisible at the front.
The plan to use Choupo-Moting's header ability to secure balls failed completely.
Grade: 6
Harry Kane
Showed nerves in front of Bochum's keeper Riemann and missed THE chance to take a 2-0 lead.
At the moment there is no comparison with Kane from the first half of the season.
At least he made the connection - but it came too late.
