The big boss of the NBA has been looking for the right formula for years to relaunch this traditional mid-season meeting.
This year, the commissioner wanted to return to the original format, East versus West, after several years of random selections, with two captains choosing their teammates for one day without restriction in terms of belonging to one Conference or the other.
The idea is always the same: to ensure that this gala match is more or less competitive, and not a big basket fair.
