FC Bayern Munich continues to lose ground on Leverkusen after the defeat in Bochum.
FCB star Goretzka no longer believes in winning the title.
Bochum/Munich – It was an evening to forget for FC Bayern Munich.
The German record champions suffered an unexpected 2-3 defeat at VfL Bochum and lost their third game in a row across all competitions.
Bayer Leverkusen is already eight points ahead in the Bundesliga, and winning the German championship again will be very difficult for FC Bayern.
Even Leon Goretzka no longer believes in the title.

“Right now it’s hard to believe it.
It's not even the question we should be answering right now.
We should find our performance again,” said Goretzka after the game on DAZN when asked whether he still believes he can intercept Leverkusen.
Thomas Tuchel also does not rate the chances of defending the title as high.
“It's not that realistic, but we believed in it until the end last season and that's why we'll keep it that way.
But of course the prerequisite is that we get on track,” confirmed the head coach in an interview with DAZN.

There are still twelve match days left in the Bundesliga in which 36 points will be awarded.

“Of course it doesn’t help if you lose three games in a row as FC Bayern.
But I want to not let it influence me,” says Goretzka.
In the end, what counts most is the principle of hope that we will still be at the top of the table in the end.
However, the scenario is currently anything but realistic.
