According to Franz Beckenbauer: Football Germany is in mourning again

At the age of 63, the Hamburg native died unexpectedly of a cardiac arrest on the night of Monday to Tuesday.

After team manager and emperor Franz Beckenbauer, Brehme is the second Italian world champion to die in 2024 - and the first player ever.
