FC Bayern is in a deeper crisis than it has been for a long time.
Will the record champions come out of this with Tuchel?
Sports editor Vinzent Tschirpke believes a fresh start could be the best thing for all sides.
Munich - Something between public support and a temporary commitment - this is how the statements made by Bavaria's CEO Jan-Christian Dreesen in Bochum can be understood.
Tuchel's dismissal would be an admission by the Bayern bosses
But no matter which interpretation approach you prefer: it is currently difficult to imagine that Thomas Tuchel will remain coach at FC Bayern until the end of the season.
Rather, it seems as if his future depends on whether (and above all: when) FC Bayern finds a new coach to replace him.
From emergency Hansi Flick to dream solution Xabi Alonso, numerous names haunt Säbener Strasse - while Jose Mourinho is apparently already taking German lessons.
A possible dismissal of Tuchel would inevitably also be an admission by the bosses that the separation from Julian Nagelsmann last March was a mistake.
Finally, it was argued at the time that there was a risk of missing the season's goals - even though FCB was still represented in all three competitions.
After the third defeat in a row and eight points behind in the league, all that can be said at the moment is that at least two of the three goals for the season
have
already been missed .

FC Bayern: A new beginning could be the best thing for all sides
The fact that Tuchel himself no longer has any explanations for the crisis is probably what worries fans and those responsible the most.
The coach cited “Murphy's Law” as the reason for VfL's bankruptcy. In simple terms, that means: everything that could go wrong went wrong.
FCB has actually had to deal with a lot of bad luck in the past few days.
But it is a coach's job - Tuchel's Law
, if you will
- to find solutions to these problems.
Instead, he once again cited xG values and unfortunate gameplay as reasons.
Almost a year ago, Tuchel caused astonishment when he was “shocked” after a 3-0 defeat against Manchester City.
And last week in Leverkusen it seemed as if the coach was more concerned with Josip Stanisic's loan player regulation than with the problems in Munich's defense.

In the past eleven months, FC Bayern has no longer managed to respond properly to crises.
This applies to both the team on the pitch and Tuchel on the sidelines.
A fresh start could now be the best thing for all sides.
