All of Arling Holland's misses this season/Sport1
After losing points in a 1:1 draw with Chelsea, Manchester City hosts Brentford tonight (Tuesday) for a complete game from the 18th round, a game in which they must not stumble in the fascinating three-way battle that is going on this season between them and Arsenal and Liverpool.
This draw left the champions four points off the top, with the gap shrinking to a point in the event of a win.
The two teams met exactly 15 days ago and then Foden's tremendous hat trick gave City a 3:1 away win.
Foden of course continues in Pep's lineup, when Bernardo Silva, Julián Albers and Erling Holland, who did not score in the last two games and did not find the back of the net in the previous meeting between the teams, also started alongside him in the condensed attack.
Oscar Bob started at the expense of Kevin de Brauna, who starts on the bench.
Brentford come into this match on the back of a 4-1 home defeat against leaders Liverpool and will continue to build on Ivan Toney, who scored the winning goal against Liverpool and has scored in four of the team's last five games.
Manchester City squad:
Ederson, Kyle Walker, John Stones, Ruben Dias, Manuel Ekanji, Rodri, Bernardo Silva, Phil Foden, Julian Albers, Oscar Bob, Erling Holland.
Brentford line-up:
Mark Falken, Matthias Jorgensen, Christopher Eyre, Ben Mee, Mads Rorslev, Frank Onieke, Christian Norgor, Vitali Yanlet, Sergio Hajdlon, Ivan Toni, Yoan Wisa.
Meanwhile the goalkeeper discourages him and City.

the progress of the game
7 min: Foden's volley made its way towards the frame, but hit a defender before goalkeeper Falken and Brentford saved.
9th minute: Again Foden kicked from a distance, this time a flat ball after a turn with his left foot, but Falken received without problems.
City immediately regained control of the ball and returned to the box, when Holland shot high over the goal.
16th minute: Onyeka raced half the field alone unhindered and entered the box from the left side, but finished with a weak kick into the hands of Ederson.
19th minute: Brentford performed a free ball exercise, Tony bombed from 20 meters just over the crossbar.
28th minute: Rodri left for Alvares who kicked another ball from 18 meters that slipped near the crossbar.
Minute 30: Bob lifted well from the left side, Holland tried an acrobatic performance and was far from the frame.

Minute 34: A nice move by City with Rodri's jump to the right towards Walker who passed with a shot into the five-point box, but Silva hit badly and wide.
35th minute: Akanji spun a dangerous ball from 25 meters, Falken tipped it into the corner.
Minute 36: This time Rodri bounced into the box and Dias the brakeman hit from five meters, but Falken deflected with his foot.
Minute 37: The press continues and Falken has already succumbed to Bob's kick after a nice deception exercise, but who saved from the line.
Minute 43: Onyeka was left free in the box and shot from 12 meters, Ederson jumped and caught.
44th minute: Good exchanges of passes in the Manchester City attack and again Dias was the dangerous man in the box, but Falken closed the near corner and deflected his kick.
Half frustrating.
