As part of a coaching course run by the French Football Association, Zinedine Zidane visited FC Bayern and was impressed by the club's infrastructure: “It's my first time here.
I’ve been to the city a few times, but this is my first time in this fantastic training center.”
The 1998 world champion said: “It's not quite as big as other European clubs, but it's very familiar.” The Frenchman described the facility as “magnifique” (translated: “beautiful”).
At that time, Zidane was still the coach of Real Madrid's second team.
About ten months later, he took over the first team at Los Blancos and led the Spaniards to, among other things, three Champions League titles during his two terms in office.

You can really feel the “lust for football” and the “very precise philosophy” of the German record champions.
