The circumstances of the shooting at the celebrations in Kansas City last week after the Kansas City Chiefs won the Super Bowl have been released.

Prosecutors in Missouri announced that two adults have been charged with murder in last week's mass shooting that killed one woman and injured 22 others at the team's championship game that turned into a tragedy.

The two are charged with second degree murder, and two additional counts of armed criminal action and illegal use of a weapon.

According to court documents, the two men did not know each other, and during the incident they pulled out guns and started shooting in all directions seconds after an argument broke out between them.

Both men were shot, and they were hospitalized following the shooting.

The argument began when two groups of men began to confront each other over the feeling that the people in the other group were "staring at them," according to police affidavits.

Security videos from the scene show the two aggressively approaching and making contact between the groups.

One started shooting first - even though he was surrounded by crowds of people, including children.

About 10 children between the ages of 6 and 15 were injured and hospitalized in the incident.

The first shooter, 18, told investigators that "he hesitated to shoot because he knew there were children there," but began shooting after someone in the second group said "I'm going to get you," which he believed meant they were They will try to kill him.

He said he picked a random person from the other group and shot him because that person ran away, the affidavit said.

"I just pulled out the gun and started shooting," he said in the interrogation, "I shouldn't have done that, it's just stupid."

The second man, in his 20s, initially told investigators that he and his friends started running after hearing gunshots and that he had been shot in the back.

However, when investigators told him they had video of him chasing someone in the other group and shooting — he admitted to firing four to five shots.

Even before his involvement became clear, his mother started a crowdfunding campaign to finance his hospitalization, and his sister Mirra cried in the media and claimed that he was only injured because he was protecting her.

Later it turned out that a bullet from his gun killed Lisa Lopez-Galvan, a radio host, a mother of two who was in the audience, a Kansas City Chiefs fan who wanted to celebrate the win and found her dead.
