A clear, pure and magnificent strike.
Boring and insipid for a long time, the meeting between Porto and Arsenal ended with an exceptional goal on Wednesday evening.
We are playing the 94th minute of this round of 16 first leg of the Champions League when the Brazilian Galeno inherits a ball from Otavio in the last 30 meters of the Gunners.
The 26-year-old winger then asks no questions and at the entrance to the area, on the left side, takes a curling shot with his right foot which surprises David Raya and lands in the opposite net.
The Dragon stadium can exult in front of this goal as sublime as it is decisive which places the Portuguese club in favorable waivers before the return match.

Galeno could, however, have been the unfortunate hero of FC Porto after missing a mind-blowing goal action in the first half.
After seeing his shot repelled by David Raya's right post, the former Braga striker did not manage to sufficiently straighten the ball on his recovery when the goal was empty.
But Galeno thrives when the Champions League music hits.
They now have five goals and three assists in this 2023-2024 edition.

Author of 21 goals in its last five matches, the English club, which did not target a single shot, was unable to find the fault against the solid and more enterprising Portuguese.
The Gunners will have to pull themselves together on March 12 in London if they want to reach the quarter-finals for the first time in 14 years, facing the Portuguese who have been quarter-finalists three times over the same period.
