Thomas Tuchel is a man of clear words.
The coach does not shy away from public criticism of his own Bayern stars.
Munich – Sky expert Didi Hamann is once again putting his finger in the wound at FC Bayern and coach Thomas Tuchel.
Hamann blamed the 2:3 in Bochum on, among others, striker Harry Kane, who missed a great chance to make it 2:0 in the first half - but was not criticized for it: “Tuchel should have mentioned that explicitly after the game.
Kane has so far been spared any criticism, so Tuchel could have sent a signal to the entire team that criticism does not stop at any name.
He missed a great opportunity to get the team behind him.”
All-round strike from Tuchel – few stars are left out
In fact, Tuchel has not spared criticism from other players during his term in office so far.
In addition to Kane, only his dream players Raphaël Guerreiro, Minjae Kim and captain Manuel Neuer were spared from his complaining.
The tz
has documented here
who has so far gotten rid of their fat verbally :
Joshua Kimmich, Leon Goretzka and Konrad Laimer (in summer preparation):
“The three are similar sixes, more like eights.
That’s why we play with a double six.”
Jamal Musiala (after the Champions League game against Manchester United):
“His next step is in phases where it is necessary to play simply and not to dribble or turn every time.
If he gets that on top of that, then things can go even further.”
Thomas Müller (after the Champions League game in Copenhagen)
: “Thomas has a certain age – without starting a swansong.
And the position that he has been playing at the highest level for years is not in the middle of the three-man chain, where you might be able to collect the balls as a libero with an eye and reduce your running performance so that you can still spend the last years of your career on the “You play at the highest level.”

Tuchel criticism of the offensive: Coman is lagging behind, Tel is missing “urge to score”
Kingsley Coman (before the Bundesliga game against Freiburg):
“He’s lagging behind in terms of numbers.
He knows that for sure and it bothers him a little bit.”

How much longer can he?
Bayern bosses apparently set a precise deadline for Tuchel
Leroy Sané (after the Bundesliga game against Hoffenheim):
“Leroy didn’t have his best day, but he was still decisive in the game.
He has to play more physically again, otherwise it’s not enough for me.”
Mathys Tel (before the Champions League round of 16 in Rome):
“He is no longer as aggressive in the box and he no longer has the absolute urge to score at the moment.
Maybe it has to do with self-confidence, it might also have to do with expecting a little too much from yourself.”
Tuchel criticism of the defense: Upamecano is “destroying his own performance”
Matthijs de Ligt (before the Champions League round of 16 in Rome):
“He is having a difficult moment.
But he’s a fighter.”
Dayot Upamecano (after the Bundesliga game in Bochum):
“Unfortunately, those were two very consequential fouls that he committed.
That's twice too impetuous, twice too aggressive.
Unfortunately, because he is ruining his own achievements a bit.”
