Eliel Peretz was attacked at the end of the Apollon/protathlima game
Apollon Limassol and Eliel Peretz advanced to the quarterfinals of the Cypriot Cup last night (Wednesday) thanks to a 1:3 victory in the derby over A.A.L. De Lucas, hit the Israeli connection hard.
According to the cameras that managed to record those difficult seconds to watch at the end of the game, Peretz seems to turn to the opponent's brakeman, who reacts with a powerful punch in front of him and then also kicks him.
Both were sent off with red cards by Italian referee Luca Zuffarelli, who for the second time this season was called to Cyprus to officiate a match.

In Cyprus this morning the referee's report of Zupperli was revealed, which wrote: "At the end of the game and still on the grass, number 8 of Apollon Eliel broke out, cursed an opposing player, number 30 of AAL Louis de Lucas.
In response, de Lucas kicked and punched Eliel Peretz with great force and violence."
Alexandros Garpozis, who serves as the temporary coach of AAL Limassol, said after the final whistle: "If there is one thing for sure, it is that De Lucas is not crazy, something must have happened and made him act like that
Obviously, what he did is unacceptable, we oppose violence."
As is known, the 27-year-old Peretz moved to Apollon last summer and managed to score three league goals in 23 games this season. Before that, he played for Hapoel Haifa, Austrian Wolfsburger, Hapoel Hadera, Bnei Yehuda and Maccabi Tel Spring where he grew up.
