FC Bayern and Thomas Tuchel will part ways again in the summer.
Meanwhile, there is hot speculation about his successor.
Munich – There will be a lot of speculation at FC Bayern in the coming weeks.
It has been clear since Wednesday that Thomas Tuchel will resign from his coaching position at the German record champions at the end of the season.
A successor has not yet been determined, but more and more names are being thrown into the ring.
Xabi Alonso as Tuchel's successor?
Hamann sees this differently
FC Bayern's ongoing negative series and the threat of experiencing a season without a title for the first time since the 2011/12 season have led to the Munich team parting ways with Thomas Tuchel in the summer.
There are already various names circulating in the media that are considered potential candidates to succeed Tuchel.
One of these names is Xabi Alonso, who is having a fabulous season with Bayer Leverkusen and is repeatedly linked to his former clubs.
He is also very popular at Liverpool FC, where Jürgen Klopp is leaving in the summer, and is considered the top candidate for the coaching position in Munich.
Sky expert Didi Hamann instead looks at an old acquaintance from FC Bayern: Sebastian Hoeneß.

Hamann sees Xabi Alonso in Leverkusen for another year
TV experts are skeptical that Alonso will make his way to Munich next summer.
“The more I think about it, the fewer arguments I find why Xabi Alonso should move to Munich,” explained Hamann in his Sky column.
“He has a great squad in Leverkusen and if he stays, then I could imagine the team staying more or less together,” he added.
Hamann goes even further.
Although the Spaniard is repeatedly linked to various top clubs, he could even imagine “that Alonso will stay in Leverkusen for at least another year.”
From his point of view, VfB coach Hoeneß is an exciting option for FC Bayern.
“I would almost tend to say: Let Sebastian Hoeneß do it,” said the former national player.

Hoeneß transforms VfB Stuttgart from relegation candidates to Champions League candidates
In April of last year, Hoeneß, who is also the nephew of Bavaria's honorary president Uli Hoeneß, took over VfB Stuttgart.
He led the traditional club to stay in the league through relegation and is well on the way to making it into the Champions League this season with attractive football.
And that within less than a year.
Hoeneß also already worked for the record champions.
In 2020 he became third division champion with the club's U23s.
“The human element has been lost in recent months or perhaps even years.
The club has to humanize again, as they say in Bavaria, at all levels.
“Hoeneß could contribute to that,” said Hamann, explaining his opinion.
