FC Bayern mourns the loss of one of its oldest members, who lived to be over 100 years old.
For the last birthday there was a jersey from Thomas Müller.
Munich – Klara Geiger is dead. FC Bayern Munich announced this in a separate article on its homepage.
At 105 years old, she was one of the oldest members of the German football record champions.

FC Bayern mourns the loss of a member of over 100 years
Until the very end, Geiger followed the games of her favorite club, dressed in style in a jersey and scarf.
For her 105th birthday in December, the club sent Klara Geiger a signed jersey with greetings from her favorite player, Thomas Müller.
“Our condolences go out to Klara Geiger’s family and relatives,” says President Herbert Hainer.
“Mrs Geiger has been following FC Bayern since the 1960s.
We are proud that we as FC Bayern can bring joy to people for such a long time.” Geiger was one of ten current members of FC Bayern who are older than 100 years.

FC Bayern started the second half of the season worse than they have in 15 years
Was Geiger impressed by her favorite team's current performances over the past few weeks?
Hardly likely.
The embarrassing 2:3 in Bochum meant the third competitive defeat in a row, the gap to leaders Bayer Leverkusen is already eight points.
The crisis in numbers: The last time we lost three competitive games in a row was in May 2015 under Pep Guardiola.
For Munich, that is as many defeats as in the previous 28 competitive games combined.
Only six points on the first five matchdays of the second half of the season in the Bundesliga is Bayern's weakest interim result in the second half of the season in 15 years.

The mixed sporting season resulted in Bayern announcing on Wednesday that they would be separating from coach Thomas Tuchel at the end of the season.
There is currently a lot of speculation about the successor.
Zinedine Zidane, who has raved about Bayern in the past, is also considered a candidate, as is Leverkusen's Xabi Alonso, who is particularly highly regarded in the Spanish press.
