Two weeks after the end of his trial in Barcelona, the verdict was delivered.
Dani Alves, the former right back of the Blaugrana, Paris SG and Juventus Turin, was sentenced this Thursday by the higher court of the Catalan capital to four and a half years in prison.
The Brazilian was prosecuted for the rape – “
sexual assault with penetration
”, in the terms of Spanish justice – of a 23-year-old young woman in the toilets of a nightclub in Barcelona, on the night of December 30 to 31, 2022 .More
