A former ski racer from Switzerland is happy to have offspring.
He announced via Instagram that his third child was born.
Obersaxen – Former ski racer Carlo Janka has become a father.
He and his wife announced this happy news via the social media platform
.
Accordingly, the family's third child was born on Thursday (February 15, 2024).
Jankas complete family planning with daughter Lina
Family planning is complete with little Lina, as Janka's wife Jennifer wrote: "We are overjoyed that Lina now completes our family." She added that "everyone is doing well."
There was a special feature at the birth: “We were able to welcome our little Lina at home in Obersaxen.” From these words it can be concluded that the daughter was not born in a hospital, but in her own four walls.
The mother thanked the midwives “for their great support”.
“Thanks to you, we were able to experience a wonderful birth!” she concluded her post.
The accompanying photo, which is in black and white, shows the hands of the couple and the newborn.

Carlo Janka is one of the most successful ski stars in Swiss history.
He became Olympic champion in 2010.
At that time, the Swiss won the giant slalom title in Vancouver.
A year earlier, Janka was able to secure the title at the World Championships in the same discipline.
After Janka had some problems with injuries, he ended his career at the beginning of 2022. He decided not to take part in a fourth Olympic Games.
