After spending his entire career with the Northampton Saints, Lawes, who is committed until 2026,

“will join CA Brive-Corrèze with his family at the start of the summer”

.

“I can’t wait to join CAB next season and give everything I have for this wonderful rugby club.

I still have the soul of a great competitor and I want to continue to progress in this new chapter of my career while contributing to the future success of CAB

,” commented the English terror.

“It’s a real satisfaction to add a player of this caliber to our squad for next season.

Courtney is a leader and, above all, a huge competitor.

He will also have a real role to play with the club's young players because he is one of those players who does not need to speak thanks to the exemplary behavior he shows at work and on the pitch.

We are happy to welcome him and his family

,” said the sports manager, Pierre-Henry Broncan.

On the French XV side, we have not forgotten the monstrous tackle he inflicted on Jules Plisson during the Crunch in 2015.
