Weidle had a conciliatory end to the season last weekend

At the last World Cup, ski racer Kira Weidle finished the weekend in Crans Montana with a top ten place.

The Starnberg native improved on Sunday (February 18th) and finished ninth in the Super-G when Austrian Stephanie Venier won.

In the two downhill runs in Switzerland she had previously only finished 22nd and 18th.

She drove “much, much better than the last few days,” said Weidle on ZDF.

It “felt like skiing again” and was a “step forward”.

The fifth top ten result this winter is worth a lot for her.

She could “go home with a smile,” explained the 2021 World Cup runner-up.
