Thomas Tuchel is leaving FC Bayern Munich in the summer.

There are well-known coaching candidates to replace him on the transfer market.

Munich – There are rumblings at FC Bayern.

After the bitter 2:3 in the Bundesliga game at VfL Bochum, many fans were already calling for Thomas Tuchel to be kicked out.

The club has now announced that the contract, which originally ran until 2025, will be terminated at the end of June and that they will part ways.

FC Bayern: Coach Thomas Tuchel is leaving the club in the summer

“In an open, good conversation we came to the decision to mutually end our collaboration in the summer.

Our goal is to reorient the sport with a new coach for the 2024/25 season,” said Jan-Christian Dreesen, CEO of FC Bayern.

Who will be the new coach of the German record champions from summer?

The transfer market always offers successor candidates.

Xabi Alonso: Will Bayern grab Leverkusen's shooting star?

Xabi Alonso has been on everyone's lips since Bayer Leverkusen's 3-0 win against Bayern.

The Spanish shooting star has been in discussion for some time as a possible successor to Jürgen Klopp, who is leaving Liverpool FC in the summer.

But according to the English sports newspaper

The Athletic,

he is also considered a candidate for the coaching position at FC Bayern, but only from the summer.

Xabi Alonso is inspiring Bayer Leverkusen with his team this season - and will probably give Bayern their twelfth championship in a row this season.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer: Bayern-Schreck is being discussed as the new coach

However, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer could represent a possible interim solution in the event of a quick separation from Tuchel.

This is what sports journalist Florian Plettenberg reports.

Solskjaer, who last coached Manchester United from December 2018 to November 2021 and is currently without a club, is best remembered as a Bayern terror: In the 1999 Champions League final, he scored for Manchester United in the third minute of added time to make it 2-1 -winning goal against Munich, making the last-minute miracle of the “Red Devils” perfect.

Zinédine Zidane: A superlative coach could come to Munich

Zinédine Zidane as coach of FC Bayern?

This is a conceivable scenario

for the Italian sports newspaper

Corriere dello Sport .

There should already be initial contact between “Zizou” and Bayern.

For the Frenchman, who is considered the long-term successor to France's national coach Didier Deschamps, a stint in the Bavarian capital would be the first coaching position since he left Real Madrid in 2021. As coach of the "Royal", he won the Spanish title twice in two terms in office, among other things Championship and the Champions League three times.

Will Zinédine Zidane (r.) follow Thomas Tuchel at FC Bayern?

Several media outlets are now linking the French legend (here in 2019 before a Champions League game between Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid) with the German record champions.

Antonio Conte: An Italian as coach of FC Bayern?

Antonio Conte:

Former CEO Karl-Heinz Rummenigge, who sits on the supervisory board, is considered a big Italy fan.

54-year-old Antonio Conte has been without a job since his interlude at Tottenham (November 2021 to March 2023).

The southern Italian had previously coached Inter Milan, Chelsea FC and – quite successfully – Juventus Turin.

With “Juve” he won the Scudetto three times between 2012 and 2014, and Conte also became Italian champion with Internazionale (2021).

FC Bayern: José Mourinho is said to be interested in a coaching job in Munich

José Mourinho

: As

Bild

reports, José Mourinho is said to be interested in the coaching job in Munich.

Germany is still missing from the Portuguese's long life.

“I heard he’s learning German.

He has flirted with the office in the past.

He would be ready,” explained sports reporter Christian Falk from

Bild

 and

Sport Bild

 on Sunday (February 11th) on

Welt TV

.

Mourinho was once considered a coaching candidate at Borussia Dortmund because he has good contacts with BVB managing director Hans-Joachim “Aki” Watzke.

The 61-year-old's CV makes impressive reading to say the least.

The Portuguese coach won the Champions League with FC Porto (2004) and Inter Milan (2010).

He also won the UEFA Cup (2003) with Porto and the successor competition, the Europa League (2017), with Manchester United in 2017.

With Chelsea FC, Mourinho became English champion three times (2005, 2006, 2015), with Inter he won the Scudetto twice (2009, 2010) and with Real Madrid the Spanish championship in 2012.

Joachim Löw: Would the former national coach be considered for FC Bayern?

Joachim Löw

: The world champion coach has been without a job since summer 2021.

Although he has since been linked to several top clubs, the 64-year-old from Baden has not yet decided to get involved.

However, the long-time national coach (2006 to 2021) is spotted again and again in the Munich Allianz Arena.

An indication?

Former national coach: Joachim Löw (Wed.).

The last time Löw coached a club team was between summer 2003 and spring 2004, when he coached Austria Wien in Austria.

What could speak against such a solution: In the summer of 2021, FCB honorary president Uli Hoeneß sharply criticized Löw for his tactics after the disappointing European Championship.

Hansi Flick: Former coach would be the successor candidate at FC Bayern

Hansi Flick

: As

Sport Bild

reports, the Bayern bosses are looking into a possible return campaign for former coach Hansi Flick.

In the 2019/20 season, the Baden native won the Champions League, the championship and the DFB Cup as well as the national and international Supercup with the Munich team.

What would speak for this constellation: Flick and Hoeneß are now said to have spoken out after the coach left the club at his own request in the summer of 2021.

What speaks against it: At the end of his time as national coach, the 58-year-old was no longer successful, and attacker Leroy Sané in particular remained pale under him.

And midfield strategist Leon Goretzka also fell short of his own standards under Flick.

The coach is said to have had a very good relationship with Thomas Müller and Joshua Kimmich, as well as with Manuel Neuer.

Would the old Bayern coach become the new man on the Munich sidelines if Tuchel remained without a title this season?
