FC Bayern will part ways with Thomas Tuchel in the summer.
Especially in Spain there is speculation about Xabi Alonso as a successor.
The international press reviews.
Munich – Thomas Tuchel is history at FC Bayern Munich, but not until the summer.
Until then, the club and coach will try to save what can still be saved.
With a deficit of eight points in the league, this is mainly the Champions League.
Despite the 0-1 defeat in the first leg at Lazio Rome, Munich still has everything possible in the premier class.
FC Bayern, Liverpool and Barcelona are looking for coaches in the summer
Even if they triumph in the Champions League, there will be no collaboration between Tuchel and the German record champions beyond the season.
Bayern are the third European heavyweight after Liverpool and Barcelona to be looking for a new coach in the summer.
While the Munich team could have a duel with the Reds for Xabi Alonso, Tuchel is being traded as Xavi's successor in Barcelona.
In Switzerland, Nagelsmann's dismissal last year is remembered.

International press reviews on the Tuchel blast – Spain
Sport:
“The news that Tuchel will be leaving FC Bayern puts him directly on Barça’s list of candidates.
(Club boss) Joan Laporta has followed his career closely and could consider him as an option for the coaching position.”
OK:
“The German coach is therefore fully involved in FC Barcelona’s casting as the successor to Xavi Hernandez next season.”
AS:
“Xabi Alonso is the boardroom’s favorite to succeed Tuchel.
Bayern will do everything they can to convince the Spanish coach.
Alonso will also be courted by Liverpool after Jürgen Klopp's term at Anfield ends.

Mundo Deportivo:
“And what happens if Tuchel leads Bayern to the Champions League title?
(...) A year ago, the management of FC Bayern, which was actually in a better situation, took a different approach with Nagelsmann.
The coach at the time was immediately shown the door.”
Marca:
"The sporting crisis and the bad relationship (Tuchel) with the heavyweights in the squad, especially Joshua Kimmich, have accelerated events (...) Xabi Alonso is now the number one candidate."

Gazzetta dello Sport:
“Bayern-Tuchel: Moving forward together, but for a limited time: At the end of the season it’s time to say goodbye.
Bayern have decided to continue with the coach, but only until the summer.”
Corriere della Sera:
“Tuchel and Bayern Munich: Official divorce at the end of the season.
Bayern are the third "giant" in Europe to announce the separation from their coach: after Liverpool, who started the ballet at the end of January - although it was actually Jürgen Klopp who announced at least a year's break - close behind from Barcelona.”
International press reviews on the Tuchel blast – England
Daily Mail:
“It raises the question of what’s next for the 50-year-old after he also left his previous job at Chelsea in a similar fog.
His partner, Natalie Guerreiro Max, lives in London and after his short but successful spell with the Blues he has admirers at many Premier League clubs.”
Telegraph:
“Thomas Tuchel will put top clubs in England, and possibly the English Football Association, on alert as he favors a move back to England if he leaves Bayern Munich at the end of the season.”

Blick:
“The irony of history: Because Tuchel was seen as the ideal candidate a year ago, predecessor Julian Nagelsmann had to go head over heels.
It can now be said that the Bayern bosses gambled badly with this poker game.
Nagelsmann’s record is superior to that of his successor.” (
