Sevilla has become the first Spanish football club that has reported to the Competition Committee of the Spanish Federation the videos that Real Madrid Television broadcasts week after week about the referees who referee the white team.

They systematically focus on the alleged errors that these referees have with Madrid every time they direct them in LaLiga matches.

Sevilla has issued a note in which it denounces “harassment” by Madrid to the referee group and has transferred this week's videos to the Competition Committee.

On this occasion, Real Madrid TV, managed by Movistar and Supersport, a subsidiary production company of Mediaset, puts the spotlight on referees Isidro Díaz de Mera, who will act as main referee for this Sunday's match at the Santiago Bernabéu (9:00 p.m., Dazn) and Pablo González Fuertes, who will be the referee in charge of the VAR.

“Sevilla FC has proceeded to denounce this Saturday in writing, before the Competition Committee of the RFEF, the campaign of persecution and harassment towards Mr. Collegiate Díaz de Mera, designated as main referee of this Sunday's match between Real Madrid and Sevilla FC, as well as to the referee González Fuertes, referee designated for the VAR, through Real Madrid TV, official television of Real Madrid," indicates the Andalusian team's statement.

“Sevilla FC wants to formally report these events to the federative bodies, in order to assess whether these events can be considered a violation of the General Regulations of the RFEF or any other regulations that apply to it,” it adds.

“The club also wishes to reiterate its strongest condemnation of these behaviors and orchestrated campaigns to undermine the image of the refereeing establishment, doing serious damage to Spanish football and calling into question the integrity of the competition,” he concludes.

The videos that Real Madrid TV broadcasts week after week about the referees who direct the white team each day have sparked criticism from the referee group.

Also those of its head, Luis Medina Cantalejo.

"It does not seem right.

It seems inappropriate to me because those videos put tremendous pressure.

We don't like it at all.

There is no team in the world in any sport that is doing this,” stated the head of the Spanish referees last January, when asked at Cope about the videos about the referee Alberola Rojas in the run-up to the semi-final. of the Spanish Super Cup.

However, neither the College of Referees nor the Spanish Federation have taken any action in protest against the broadcast of these videos by Madrid's official television.
