Thomas Tuchel is looking for a new club.
Is he going back to England?
A DFB star could also attract Bayern's current coach.
Munich – As the club announced, coach Thomas Tuchel is leaving the German record champions after the end of the season.
The rumor mill about the 50-year-old's possible successor on the Bayern bench is already running hot.
But what happens to Tuchel himself?
Where is he going?
There are already two serious interested parties.
Tuchel future: What will happen next for the Bayern coach from the summer?
After his final exit from Bayern, Tuchel will be back on the coaching market in the summer - just like Xavi, who recently announced his departure from FC Barcelona after the season.
Will the German follow the Catalan coach at the “Blaugrana”?
It's quite possible, as Barca President Joan Laporta is said to have flirted with signing the then Chelsea coach as early as 2021.
That didn't happen back then, but it could happen in 2024 - according to the Spanish sports newspaper
Sport
, Barcelona is again considered an interested party.

Still-Bayern coach Tuchel is said to have offered himself to the top Spanish club
Tuchel himself probably wouldn't be averse to playing in Spain, as he said a few weeks ago: "It's an extraordinary league," said the 50-year-old during a recent visit to the Bayern fan club in Heidenheim.
LaLiga is “characterized by insane self-confidence,” said Tuchel, who added: “When you talk to Spanish players, you have the feeling that you talk to people very quickly.”
Several media outlets are now unanimously reporting that the current Bayern coach can well imagine succeeding Xavi.
According to the Spanish
Mundo Deportivo
, Tuchel is said to have offered himself to the Catalan club in mid-February and thus clearly signaled his willingness.

Reunion with Gündogan?
Tuchel could go to Bayern to Barca
One thing is certain: In Barcelona he would meet Ilkay Gündogan.
The two already worked together at Borussia Dortmund in the 2015/16 season and had a very good relationship back then.
Most recently, the DFB captain praised Tuchel
highly in an interview with the
German Press Agency and described him as “one of the best coaches in Europe”.
The 50-year-old is also “an extremely honest, open guy” and “tactically outstanding.”
Reunited soon?

Former favorite as a driving force: Munich's Tuchel could return to England
But Barca is not the only club on Tuchel's list.
“Abroad will definitely interest me again, in general,” he revealed during a visit to the fan club several weeks ago.
As several media outlets unanimously report, the 50-year-old can particularly imagine a job in the Premier League.
Several media outlets are now reporting that the Bayern coach is toying with a commitment to Manchester United.
It is said that the club is an interesting overall project for Tuchel.
Erik ten Hag is currently on the sidelines there, but despite a good phase, his coaching chair has been shaking regularly recently.
It is unclear whether he will stay in Manchester beyond the summer.
There the Bavarian Swabian would meet an old favorite: ex-Chelsea star Mason Mount, whom Tuchel reportedly wanted to bring to Bayern last summer.
After FCB exit: Tuchel's sabbatical year is rather unlikely
In addition to United, the
Daily Mail
names Tuchel's former club, Chelsea FC, and Liverpool FC, which is looking for a coach in the summer after Jürgen Klopp's departure, as potential targets for the 50-year-old.
It is unlikely that he will follow Klopp's example and take a longer break after his time at Bayern.
After his term at 1. FSV Mainz 05 ended in 2014, Tuchel took a sabbatical before joining BVB.
Recently there were rumors that Tuchel could join another London club.
A German Premier League official is probably behind the rumored interest.
