Improbable scene in the Qatar championship on Sunday.
The clash between the leader Al-Sadd and his runner-up Al-Wakrah was interrupted shortly after the hour mark when the president of the local club, frustrated by the refereeing decisions, entered the pitch to express his dissatisfaction.

After long discussions, the meeting was finally able to resume.
Despite the exclusion of the Al-Wakrah goalkeeper a few minutes later, the visitors failed to win, the match ending in a draw (0-0).
Al-Sadd thus remains leader of the championship with four points ahead of its runner-up.
Like the Sheikh of Kuwait in 1982
This clash is reminiscent of the match between France and Kuwait during the 1982 World Cup. While the Blues had just scored the 4-1 goal ten minutes from the end, the sheikh of the emirate, furious, went down to the field to speak to the officials.
The goal was ultimately canceled, angering French coach Michel Hidalgo.
FIFA subsequently banned the referee from the match for life.
