FC Bayern and Thomas Tuchel are going their separate ways after the end of the season.
Jan-Christian Dreesen clears up rumors of an earlier separation.
Munich – Three away games, three defeats – that was too much in the end.
Thomas Tuchel has to vacate his place at FC Bayern after the end of the season.
In the past, however, definitely not, as Bayern boss Jan-Christian Dreesen said in an interview.
No immediate separation offered: Dreesen speaks plainly about Tuchel-Aus
Dreesen did not want to go into details because it was a “one-on-one conversation” whose content was not intended for the public.
But: “We decided – as described in the press release – to part ways amicably in the summer.
“Everything else – like the alleged offer to separate immediately – is nonsense,” he said in an interview with
Bild
.
The Bayern boss also emphasized again that it was an amicable separation: “I had a good conversation with Thomas at lunch on Tuesday.
It was about many things, not just the early separation in the summer: how he sees his situation, how he assesses the team, the analysis that Thomas also spoke about.
I also gave him my perspective.
“We created clarity together,” he said.
Thomas Tuchel has to leave FC Bayern at the end of the season - but not earlier, as claimed.

Dreesen does not participate in speculation about Tuchel's successor
And who will inherit coach Tuchel at FC Bayern?
Numerous names are already circulating through the rumor mill, but Dreesen did not want to take part in the speculation.
“It makes no sense to speculate about the new coach right now,” he said in the
Bild
interview – and also blocked the question about Leverkusen coach Xabi Alonso, who played for Munich as a professional and also ended his career there .
“We have to look at every good coach and then hopefully find the best one for us that we can get in the summer,” said Dreesen about Alonso’s personality.
So the fans will have to be patient for a moment.
Or maybe there will even be a spectacular return?
As

football boss Christian Falk claims to have learned, national coach Julian Nagelsmann could apparently imagine a comeback at FC Bayern.
That would definitely be a surprise.
