Max Eberl will be FC Bayern's new strong man.
It is possible that the sports director will bring his right-hand man from his time in Leipzig with him to Munich.
Munich – Max Eberl (50) will be FC Bayern’s new strong man.
As sports director, he is supposed to lead the German record champions to new successes and make the necessary personnel decisions for this.
A mammoth task in which he also needs support.
Eberl's right-hand man wanted at FC Bayern?
As the tz learned, Eberl would like to bring Felix Krüger (37), a close confidant from his time in Leipzig, to Säbener Strasse.
Provided, from the perspective of the long-time Bundesliga manager, he fits into the existing sports management team around sports director Christoph Freund (46).
A final decision on this should only be made after Eberl has gained an overview of the inner workings of the record champions.
Krüger, who was born in Berlin, joined RB Leipzig in April 2020 and previously worked at the law firm Dentons.
At the Sachsen Club, the qualified lawyer and sports law expert was promoted to sports coordinator and acted as its right-hand man.
Both have a very close relationship.
He is currently completing the “Management in Professional Football” training program at the DFB Academy.

At RB Leipzig, Krüger took care of contractual matters
Together with Eberl, Krüger played a key role in the RB squad change last summer.
The sports manager primarily took care of contractual matters, not only for the licensed players but also for the staff.
Krüger has now earned a reputation as a “deal maker” in the industry.
After just ten months in office, Eberl was released as managing director of sports at RB Leipzig at the end of September 2023.
Reason for this: The former Bayern player's commitment to the club was not sufficient.
As a result, Krüger also suffered the Eberl fate.
However, no transfer fee would be required to get him.
Eberl and Krüger’s paths could soon cross again at FC Bayern.
