Biathlon star Leitner ends the season early: “It’s time to find solutions”
The reason for this is probably the lack of results.
Leitner was actually considered a contender for podium places, but this season he didn't get past eleventh place.
He achieved this in the individual in Östersund right at the beginning of the World Cup winter, after which things went significantly downhill.
"And from.
Unfortunately I will end my season earlier again.
Now it's time to find solutions so that I can smile happily again after the races.
See U,” Leitner wrote in an Instagram post.

Unterweger joins the ÖSV squad for the Biathlon World Cup
In the overall World Cup, Leitner is the second best Austrian behind oldie Simon Eder in 35th place, not enough for the 27-year-old.
That's why he pulled the ripcord prematurely.
His fans commented encouragingly on the post and wished him all the best.
The biathlete will want to attack again next season.
Instead of the Tyrolean leader, Dominic Unterweger is joining the ÖSV squad for the World Cup weekend in Oslo.
There are a total of six competitions for men and women on the program between Thursday (February 29) and Sunday (March 3).

Austria's biathlon women are hoping for good results in the World Cup
And the Austrian biathlon women in particular should expect something after the promising World Cup final.
Lisa Hauser and Anna Gandler took sixth and seventh place in the mass start.
“We did well at the World Cup right up to the end and so I think we can still show good performances at the end of the season,” said Austria head coach Markus Fischer.
Lea Rothschopf will also be competing in the World Cup for the first time in Oslo.
After the successful World Cup premiere, Austria's head coach Fischer nominated her for the Biathlon World Cup for the first time.
Things aren't going well for biathlon star Dorothea Wierer at the moment.
Now she has made a surprisingly clear statement about a possible end to her career.
