FC Bayern presents a new, strong man in Max Eberl.
Another board member, however, will leave the club.
Munich – FC Bayern is preparing for the future.
The vacant position of sports director was filled with Max Eberl.
Nevertheless, the management team will be reduced from summer onwards, as a long-standing boss will be leaving the club.
We are talking about Andreas Jung, the “246 million man”.
Changing chairs at FC Bayern: Eberl starts, 246 million man leaves
After 27 years it's over: Andreas Jung will not be extending his expiring contract with FC Bayern, this was announced last November.
In the past, the marketing director played a major role in Bavaria's economic success.
Jung is responsible for the fact that marketing sales increased 20-fold.
To be precise: from 13 million to a whopping 246 million euros.

After 27 years of FC Bayern: guaranteed success resigns
“He has been responsible for our sponsorship since 1996 and during this time has shaped the club into Europe's leader in marketing.
Without this income we would not have been able to establish ourselves at the top of European football,” said President Herbert Hainer about Jung in November when the separation for the summer was announced.
Jung also “organized hundreds of events, from championship celebrations to the Champions League finals.
His commitment, his innovative strength and his loyalty are outstanding, and we all value him personally for his reliability, his straightforwardness and his open, always friendly character,” explained Hainer about the 62-year-old.
The trained sports scientist and sports manager also established “countless partnerships, including important ones such as those with Deutsche Telekom, Adidas, Audi and Allianz and led FC Bayern,” the Munich-based company writes about Jung.

Bayern board: Eberl comes, Jung goes
Due to Jung's departure, the FC Bayern board of directors will be as follows from July 1st: In addition to Jan-Christian Dreesen (CEO) and the deputy chairman Michael Diederich (Finance & Sales), Max Eberl will take care of the sport.
The committee must find a successor to coach Thomas Tuchel for the new season.
At his Bayern presentation, Eberl spoke about a phone call with Xabi Alonso.
Bayern are likely to hope for speed of action thanks to the new structure, particularly in the coaching matter.
“With the new organizational structure that we have decided on for our Executive Board in the Supervisory Board, we will create lean and efficient structures that enable quick coordination and dynamic decisions.
It's important to us at FC Bayern to always be able to act quickly," said Hainer and once again thanked Jung, "to whom we are very grateful for over 25 years of great work."
