Warming up for the match between Maccabi Tel Aviv and Maccabi Jaffa/Ariel Shalom
Two years after they met in the quarter-finals of the State Cup (0:6 for the Yellows in the summary of the two games), Maccabi Tel Aviv and Maccabi Jaffa play against each other tonight (Wednesday) in the round of 16 at Bloomfield Stadium.
The Yellows came out of the bad period with 1:5 in Netanya and 0:1 against Hapoel Beer Sheva in the top meeting last Saturday night, while Jaffa, ranked fourth in the national league, comes after a dramatic 0:1 away to Tiberias City which for them was a quick recovery from absorbing the top five from Kiryat Shmona City.
"I want you to give me a headache," Robbie Keane asked his substitutes, several of whom are getting a chance in the lineup.
Daniel Tanenbaum stood between the posts and also Kiko Bundoso, Yonatan Cohen and Aden Kartsev in the 11th.
Raz Shlomo and Younes Melda are absent due to injuries.
Jaffa hopes to surprise with Gil Yitzhak, the king of goals in the National League (14) as he has quite a few experienced names behind him, including John Ogo and Marouen Kabaha who won championships with Hapoel Beer Sheva.
